So last week I touched on how Daisy was having a rough time at school. Well I'm pleased to say that this seems to have passed for now!
She had a great week at school this week with little to no tears at all. We had a little bit of anxiety on Monday, which is actually relatively standard for Daisy. I'm pretty regular with that myself actually! She was sat close to the teacher with a friend and she seemed to keep her concentration and get her work done. I had the rare privilege of being able to pick her up from school on Friday and she came out happier than I've seen in a while, with hand made dolls house in hand.
She did admit to crying on Friday however, due to an amazing teacher leaving the school on that day. I think that can be forgiven though, as this woman was able to guide both of our kids through some difficult times and get them out the other end. But we had a bit of father daughter T.V. time, and Daisy was chilled again.

Away from school, she has been carrying on with her usual hobbies. Plenty of drawing and loving her new 'Turning Red' sticker album. And to carry on with her creative hobbies, Daisy was taken to the Pink Parachute by her mum and aunty, where she was able to choose a clay model and paint it exactly how she wanted, whilst me and our son enjoyed a day at Brands Hatch. She chose to paint a Pegasus and used her favourite colours, purple, pink and glitter! It's something she has done a couple of times before and absolutely loves it. Not sure if its the models, the painting or the girly time with mum, but its certainly something that chills her out and gets her creative juices flowing.
Once they were done there, she was treated to dinner out at the local Prezzo. Daisy pigged out on a kids meal deal that included a garlic bread starter, a massive cheeseburger and chips, topped off with Daisy's favourite desert, pancakes! With Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday left for chill out time, the week has been a good one for Daisy.
Hopefully this continues into next week!
